Working at a hospital as lactation consultants, we realized that many families go home without proper lactation and feeding support due to the short nature of their stay. New parents are discharged from the hospital sleep-deprived, overwhelmed with information, and often lacking knowledge of where to seek out breastfeeding assistance. Providing a personalized outpatient lactation service is something our team feels is crucial to chest/body/breastfeeding success.
